Let me introduce myself ...

- My name is Megan. I was born in Canada but am now living in Scotland with my partner. We both enjoy our work but enjoy our time off even more. Living where we do enables us to fully enjoy outdoor activities like camping, canoeing, cycling and walking. When the weather doesn't permit for such things I enjoy making things inside. My beaded flowers started as something I could make for friends and family - gifts that are different and unique and made with care. I've grown to love it - the beads are so rich in colour and it is such a tactile and meditative craft. With each piece I make I look forward to the final steps of uniting all of the parts together to form a whole flower, plant or bouquet. The biggest compliment is for someone to instinctively want to touch a finished piece. I will never tire of hearing that someone "thought it was real!!" That always makes me smile. :)
